• Wear comfortable clothing that you can move freely in.
  • Avoid the use of lotions and perfumes.
  • Avoid eating for two hours before your practice.
  • Bring a towel.  
  • If you have yoga props - bring those too.  It is helpful to have two blocks, a strap, and a blanket or bolster.  If you don't have them, I can supply them for you.  Yoga props can be found online for a reasonable price here.
  • Turn off your cell phone and keep it in another room.
  • Enjoy your practice.  Yoga isn't about being able to get into fancy poses, its what you learn on the way there. Start where you are.  Use what you have. Do what you can.  It's that simple.
